A timeless dessert made vegan. Soft, spiced apples topped with a crunchy oat crumble. Perfect with vegan ice cream or custard.

Ingredients
  

Apple Filling

  • 6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
  • Toss apples with sugar and cinnamon, place in baking dish.
  • Mix crumble topping ingredients until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle topping over apples and bake for 40 minutes.

Notes

Delicious with vegan vanilla ice cream.
